Ever Changing America

Remember the saying " I want my kids to have a better life than I had?"  I think it is ruining America!  I think we have made it so easy for our children that they no longer understand the meaning of hard work.  I know I didn't grasp this amazing idea until I was a  little older.  It is something that I want to teach my girls.  I want them to understand that in order to have everything they want, they must work hard.  Today was an eye opening day in America.  The government is shutting down in order to cut budget cost.  Sound like a plan right?  Well the men and women who serve this great country will miss some of their pay!  Congress is a joke, we have failed to run America as a business and allowed the business to run us.  We have forgetten about those who sacrificed everything to make this country great.  We have failed to remember that we are not only the greatest country in the world it took HARD WORK to get there.  There were no handouts for the men who died at Valley Forge....The men who gave their all at Normandy....They men who are still giving their lives today!  God Bless American because we need it!
